What are the benefits of advertising on Caernarfon Things?

What if I don't have a website to link to from my profile?

You can link to another website instead. For example, if you have a Facebook page, a blog, a Google Local Business profile, or a profile on an online business directory, you can link to these instead.

How much does it cost to advertise?

A basic profile costs £295 in the first year, then there's an annual renewal fee of £145 per year thereafter. A premium profile costs £495 in the first year, followed by an annual fee of £195 per year thereafter.

Can I pay by instalments?

Yes, you can pay a quarterly fee instead, but there are extra administration costs involved so the price is slightly higher if you choose to pay this way.

Basic profile: £85 per quarter in the first year (total cost: £340), and £45 per quarter thereafter (total cost: £180)

Premium profile: £135 per quarter in the first year (total cost: £540), and £60 per quarter thereafter (total cost: £240)

Can I upgrade from a basic account to a premium account?

Yes, you can. If you decide part-way through the year that you'd like to upgrade, we'll work out how much the pro-rated additional cost will be, and invoice you for this amount.

Can I make changes to my profile once it's gone live?

Yes, you can make small changes within reason. For example, if you need to change your contact details, or change an image, a video or one of your downloadable documents, this is fine. However, if you need to make significant changes to the main body of text on your profile, we will have to charge you extra to cover our costs.

For this reason, we strongly advise that you carefully proof read your profile information before you send it to us for publication.

What sort of documents can I add to my profile?

Ideally, your downloadable documents should be saved in PDF format (you can use a free tool like CutePDF to create your file).

You could, for example, scan your menu or price list, or retype them in a word processing program such as Microsoft Word and save them to PDF.

Or, if you're handing out flyers, leaflets or money-off coupons to customers, you could scan these, save them to PDF and include them on your profile.

Offering downloadable documents is an excellent way to extend the amount of information that's available to customers visiting your profile page, and it's included in the price you pay to advertise - so do take advantage.
